Analysis of Golden Age

We come to time of golden age,
no, no that of sixty or any other number,
but age when selfless love and kindness
start  winning over pride and arrogance.

We come to age of vision and of call,
in Spirit's realm to willingly move on,
and listen to the still, small voice
when it is heard, we follow and rejoice.

Narrow and steep may be the road
to self-surrender, inner eyes restored,
and costly is each drop of blood
shed from the vessel of eternal Love.

The valley of decision left behind,
to glimpse a higher view, I pause and pray
for stamina and sight to be renewed,
to never leave my golden age unproved.
