Analysis of My Little Child

Justina Sviatodukhova 1978 (Sumy region)

My little angel, dear one,
I love you so much!
Your eyes are big, your smile is smart
and dimples win my heart.

I want to hug you so much,
I want to sing my song
to you, and say that you should start
to listen to your soul.

And it will tell you to love God,
to love your close ones,
be honest, not offended, kind,
and loving little child.

You should respect your parents and,
without any doubts, help others:
those who need your care
and those, who need your love.

I want to say all these to you,
so that you understand:
here, on Earth, we learn to live
and live without debts!
