Analysis of These Mice Breaking Me

When the mice played in the dust

These mice have played for far too long
In this dusty corner my house which is my soul.
Flecked with red,
All things that were said and dead.
Leave me alone, you... you...
Why can't you stop me from seeing.
I am you, you are me, and you are the ones who have been sinking your rusty red teeth into my heart.
Oh, take me away, anywhere. Anywhere but this crumbing house
with it's crumbling walls, painted with the paint of green and black and blue mold that has grown there, forgotten.
Walls that are my bones.
Bones that hold the truth that is my heart, protecting me and sealing me Off
From the life that was mine.
That I thought was mine.
You darn mice.
You took away the peace I had, the thoughts I wanted to forget.
They were mine, but they were just dreams.
Too many mice
Eating away at my bones
This crumbling wood falls.
Thank you mice who have freed me
From this dulling serenity
Whispering away the pain
With your facade.
I gasp as the house falls
My chest crumples like twigs succumbing to their fate
the heat of the ashes.
The dark crimson truth that dribbles from my skin is the proof
Proof of my existing.
Proud of my proof.
Proof of my
Truth.
