Analysis of Forgiveness
Michelle Villamin 1983 (Camiling Tarlac)
Hate is such a strong word
But can you forgive him?
He ruined your innocents
What is your response?
Was it me? Could it have been my fault?
Are you willing to forgive him?
Can you truly forget and forgive someone who took something from you for years you felt ashamed off and felt broken?
Honestly I've forgiven that part of me that had hate for that person and yes I still remember for the rest of my life what happened but it wasn't me whose fault it was for I was a child and as I grew older yes I learned to forgive him and found peace...
He who said I was pretty
Touch my body secretly
He who my family trusted
Secretly molested me
Not only was it physical
I also felt mind raped
For I was too young to know grown things
at such a young age
He who said I was pretty
Always made me tell lies
The sharp blade of the knife on my neck
So I can confirm he's alibis
I look at myself in the mirror and I would cry
Hated myself for years by a broken lullaby
My father died and I lost faith
Heard he stabbed my uncle for the years that he taked
So I'm sorry for saying "I'm dancing over my uncles grave" but I can forgive yet I can't forget...
