Analysis of Temptress & The Pea

in the dark days of old let the truth be told
where mere nobels tread to hide away from the pain
in scarlet thread with quaint visions in their head
a beacon of light to a much hurting world in need of love

there she awaits in the parlor by the floor
a quaint encounter lest I implore,
visions of Lavender hue out on the lawn
the Sparrow faint of song

Caress the kiss of a new day's dawn
in song the reproach of dazzling thoughts
a kiss from her hand maiden to increase the flow
take you to quaint places you ought to know

she often sat by the pond to hear the smooth scent of a lively swan
her tormentors would lurk with envy in their eyes
Maple with syrup leading on her breakfast toast
like a lost seagull out on the coast

the temptress of fire down to the wire
nestled in her suede hat was a little pea
as if a chalice dancer blown away with a hint of laughter
come together through the shutters to appeal to the senses

falling, falling & burning
heads were turning as if butter was churning
gasped for breath in the place of resistance
there she sat alone the temptress & the pea

hoping someday that a fine gentleman would marry thee
to close of the river Nile deafening the blow
there are some things you ought to know
draw out the faint of heart to increase the mighty ego

reflections
never second guessing
professing
a challenge to be free is a question of time
