Analysis of Living for Today
Kenneth R. Jenkins 1961 (Augusta, GA)
I am living for today,
To look forward towards my tomorrows.
No matter the cloudy skies that may
Bring on showers of happiness.
No matter how gloomy things be,
No matter what the problems are,
You have to let loose and free
Those things that seems not so.
I am living for today
I am looking forward to the future
Forgetting the past in every way
Making strides for whatever maybe.
I travel down the road of hope,
No matter how dark it maybe,
Throught God I am to cope
To whatever there is
I am living for today.
