Analysis of April's Arrival

April is here,
The old 'fool's day'
Has gone by,
And the sky
Above is magic
To the eye...
~
As I drive along
The roads I perceive
And enjoy the awaited
Growth of various plants
And flowers that I have
Treasured since a child.
~
A month mistaken for the
Start of Spring but in Erin
The latter arrives on the day
Of St.Brigid- a mystic whose
Symbol is a cross made of
Rushes...
~
Yes, the arrival of beauty
Painted by our God- who is
Love- a gift which is part of many
Which we all should cherish on
Our journey to our eternal abode.
