Analysis of Only time
My heart’s in a wheelchair
Get up and walk she said
You may heal the lame lassie and make it rhyme
But a broken heart heals only in its time
My heart’s in a wheelchair
Get up and walk she said
A miracle isn’t what you think it is dear
It’s something you think it isn’t
Was I made to walk on water?
Or this flowery earth, a petal with legs
Miracle, miracle!! Is that what you say?
I’m softly happy breathing lucidity
The miracle, time
I can walk on water you know; all is made of the stuff
Even if it was just an analogical sandbank
Miracle, miracle!! Is that what you cheer?
The blind can see and the deaf can hear
That’s no miracle miss, that’s realisation
My heart’s in a wheelchair
Get up and walk she said
You may heal the lame lady and alliterate rhyme
But can you mend this broken heart of mine?
Only time can do that
