Analysis of Poet
A prince without a lineage
A king without a throne
A master without servants
A lover of that unknown
A hearer of what’s unspoken
A seer of things divine
A lord among the jesters
A voice for all the mimes
A reason, when excuses falter
A questioner, when answers fail
That link between the seasons
That first breath,
—a baby wails
