Ô doux plaisir plein de doux pensement,
Quand la douceur de la douce meslée,
Etreint et joint, l'ame en l'ame mellée,
Le corps au corps accouplé doucement.

Ô douce mort ! ô doux trepassement !
Mon ame alors de grand'joye troublée,
De moy dans toy s'ecoulant a l'emblée,
Puis haut, puis bas, quiert son ravissement.

Quand nous ardentz, Meline, d'amour forte,
Moy d'estre en toy, toy d'en toy tout me prendre,
Par celle part, qui dans toy entre plus,

Tu la reçoys, moy restant masse morte :
Puis vient ta bouche en ma bouche la rendre,
Me ranimant tous mes membres perclus.
