Analysis of Praise King
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
O sing to the Lord a new song,
For He has done marvelous things;
His holy hand and arm are strong,
For the creation that He brings.
The Lord makes known His salvation,
He has revealed His righteousness;
That firms up a new foundation,
Giving creation joyousness.
He remembered His steadfast love,
And faithfulness unto His house;
A rebirth that comes from above,
As they multiply with their spouse.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord,
Rejoice to Him by singing praise;
Sing praise to Him in one accord,
With harp and lyre throughout your days.
Joyful noise with the trumpet sound,
Make a joyful noise for the King;
Attracting others to astound,
For joining in the psalms to sing.
Let the sea roar from all that fill,
The rivers that flow into it;
As the wind blowing to instill,
Making its waves with its merit.
Let the rivers sounding applaud,
As the hills sing joy together;
While they rejoice unto God,
All of creation to gather.
The Lord has come to judge the earth,
He will judge us with righteousness;
All people with just of their worth,
And of their humbled graciousness.
