Analysis of Ode to Puzzles

Bianca Ariana Lowenstein 2006 (United States)

Ode

You’re an enigma, building a mystery
So many sizes and shapes
You’re timeless to me
Everywhere, colorful and bright

You’re like a soft star that shines in the dark
Calming like the touch of a loved one
Like the gentle autumn rain on a nice night
Mesmerizing in the pictures you create

I’m so addicted to the things you do
You’re beautiful, it’s true
In my head, like a melody on repeat
When you’re gone, I think of you
