Analysis of Buddy
Hey Buddy, can you spare me an ear?
I’ve got a terrible notion my time is near.
What have I done with my life as it went?
How have my investments been spent?
How have I lived my life? How have the bells tolled?
How have chances laid out at last
When the dice have rolled?
What more can I do at last to keep my loved ones from pain?
I feel satisfied with a life lived well,
Though a sadness my friend.
I’ll not see my loved ones again.
I’m here with you at the end.
These are life’s circumstances
How many times have I taken chances.
I’m glad you’re here Buddy my guy
At the end to say Good bye.
