Analysis of Despair
Dark was the day and was cold
Horror was through all their core
Terror and weeping foretold
crucified on a cross gore
Beaten and bloodied and bruised
Woman there watched their master
Romans there watched the accused
Sobbing was drowned by the laughter
“ Father, I give up my soul”
Jesus distorted face cried
All of earth wept as a whole
For their Messiah had died.
