Analysis of My Heaven

All I want Is to sit in a field
Filled with flowers all around me
Sun shinning on me
it’s warmth, a soft embrace
Listening to the music the wind makes
rustling in the soft grass
Keeping me cool
I close my eyes
to feel the energy all around me
I open them
to see nothing but a vast sky
And a never ending field
And I can’t help but thank God for the beautiful vision
He has created just for me
And only me
I cry all the tears left in me
And I lay and rest forever

About this poem

This poem is about my struggle with depression. And when I'm going through it I pray and imagine this beautiful image of what my heaven will be, literally and metaphorically. I feel there's a lot of room to interpret with my poem in however way it connects to you.
