Analysis of Crimson Evil
Her pupils turn into narrow slits.
The last breath leaves her.
Away she crumples into the pit
Where darkness swallows
And evening shadows.
Blood drips from the tip of the blade.
Thick and crimson, it degrades.
A knot forms in my throat
While my heart remains shattered, broke.
When did I turn to this crimson evil?
When did I let compassion become illegal?
When did death become my answer?
Why am I like this?
What did I miss?
Why do shadows demolish the very kingliness I had inside?
I didn't even cry.
When this foul stench of hatred
Wrapped around me in sacred
I knew what had changed me.
Or who had changed me.
I did.
I hid.
When things got real
I chased after what appealed.
As I stared down at the blood
Dripping off into the mud
I know what I did incorrect
For I had listened to my own directions.
It was I who changed me
Into someone that should never be.
I have become sour
Searching for anything to enhance my power.
The intensity of my hardening heart
Made me forget to restart.
I was driven into insanity
All for my kingdom’s vanity.
Now, I will change.
Now, I will rearrange.
Because I looked back at my past.
And, no, it will not last.
