Analysis of Whispers of the Lost
In a world of whispers lost to the wind,
My heart, a captive, bound and pinned.
Each beat, a memory, each sigh, a plea,
For the one who left, took part of me.
Through seasons' change, I wade, alone,
Your laughter's echo, a haunting tone.
Where shadows dance, in absence's light,
I find you there, just out of sight.
Beneath the moon, where dreams are wept,
I guard the promises we never kept.
A silent sentinel of the night,
Holding onto love, extinguished by light.
So here I stand, amidst life's fray,
A soul adrift, in eternal sway.
Love's cruel theft, a heart bereaved,
In the quiet, I whisper, forever grieved
