Analysis of monster
Robert loughran 1962 (Ireland)
I must do what it is impossible for me to do
,i must overcome the tyrant,
that lives inside my cranium.
This never sleeping giant.
I must overcome this monster.
My freedom on it rests.
He pulls strings ,presses buttons.
He says that he knows best.
He tells me what to do..
He tells me where to go.
He says how far i reach.
he says how much i grow.
he rations out my love.
He poisons it with fear.
he know my every move
and all that i hold dear.
Its me you see this creature
trying to find the new in the old.
While true explorers chart unknown lands,
Without self constraining ,with freedom to behold.
All change it lies in action.
The breaking of the mold
not entanglement in thought.
the past ,the known ,the old.
