Analysis of My apology

Kelley Davies 1983 (Dallas)

The ones I hurt, to them, I'm sorry

You deserved none of it

I was arrogant, manipulative

The tides turn in the belly of the storm

I am being washed clean

Strung up and tied down like a man under water

I apologize, I know I've hurt you

Please forgive me, if you can't, maybe God can

It's why I've become religious

My karma is that of a madman who strips and rapes souls

Maybe that's where this pain comes from

A just God who fairly cares for the prisoners of humans who hurt others

Maybe I deserve the pain

Whether or not anything I say is true, I want you to know this, those whom I've destroyed

I am sorry
