Analysis of When Opportunity Knocks

Steve Cochrane 1955 (Cape)

Sometimes we hear the knock of chance
That we're invited to the dance
Of opportunity.

Sometimes we do not hear the sound,
Instead, if we would turn around,
There's something we might see.

The windows of chance can open for
The ones who look for something more
Beyond the box they're in.

You have to keep an open mind
About the chances you might find
With courage to begin.
