Analysis of Grow Weary Not
We are surrounded by a cloud,
So great a cloud of witnesses;
Lay aside the weight of the crowd,
And the sin that embarrasses.
Let’s run a race of endurance.
The joy that has set before us;
That has given us assurance,
Giving faith in equal justice.
Looking to Jesus, the founder,
Set before and endured the cross;
Of our faith and perfecter,
Despised the shame of sinful loss.
He sits on the right hand of God,
Who endured such hostility;
Against Him from those who are flawed,
Having disreputability.
Grow not weary or fainthearted,
In the struggle against sinning;
Immunity has departed,
The shedding of blood is giving.
You forgot the exhortation,
You as the sons and daughters;
His children through exploration,
And from the baptismal waters.
Never despise the chastening,
Disregarding the discipline;
It is for your awakening,
That you have committed a sin.
For the one He loves He chastens,
Of everyone whom He receives;
Slow to anger never hastens,
In the faith that someone believes.
