Analysis of Unseen

When life weighs me down,
And I feel like I’ve fallen from a helicopter with no parachute,
I always have a way to fix it.
Like when my dad once said to me,
He could not see me in the week,
Because he’d be on business trips.
I settled down,
With a pen and a pad,
And though it may seem strange to you,
I make him the hero of adventures,
All around the world.

On Monday he’s an undercover spy,
Hidden in misty shadows he lies.
On Tuesday Daddy explores the jungle,
Jumping like a monkey from tree to tree.
The moon is where he goes on Wednesday,
Uncovering Oartblots, Boartblocks, and many more.
Thursday he finds fish,
Rowing ‘cross the ocean blue.
Climbing mountains is his Friday,
Frostbite munching at his feet.

Eventually the weekend comes,
He says hi and gives me hugs.
He says he misses seeing me,
And I say,
In my head,
Of course he couldn't see me,
But I could still see him.
