Analysis of The Office's Unspoken Saga
Richard Scorpio 1964 (Iowa)
In the corridors of commerce and trade,
Strides a siren's parade, in bold shades arrayed.
Fabric clinging like a second skin,
Revealing more than just a hint of sin.
Tops translucent, leaving naught to muse,
Breasts but veiled, setting minds loose.
Yoga pants contouring every curve and line,
An invitation to fantasies, not benign.
Tight and translucent, her clothes barely conceal,
Revealing secrets, men wish not to feel.
Reluctant onlookers, they strive to avert,
But the sight grips their minds, in a silent alert.
Their eyes betray them, drawn against will,
To curves and contours, a visual thrill.
Each man in his battle, a war within,
Yearning for focus, amidst the din.
Tom, at his terminal, a techie so keen,
Now lost in a fantasy, unintended, unseen.
Lines of code blur into a sensual haze,
His professional poise, lost in the maze.
Dan in accounting, figures at hand,
Imagines whispers, a forbidden land.
His spreadsheets now a backdrop, so dull and dry,
Eclipsed by the image he can't deny.
In each cubicle, a silent cry,
For concentration broken, as she walks by.
They wish not for distraction, not for this test,
Yet in her presence, their minds can't rest.
So here's to the office, a battleground strange,
Where professionalism and allure interchange.
In the tapestry of attire and intention,
Lies a complex web of unspoken tension.
Let's navigate this space with a mindful eye,
Where work is work, and personal, shy.
For in the balance of dress and respect, we find,
A harmony of purpose, for all humankind.

About this poem
This one was a challenge. While I was complaining about "dress code" or lack of to my step mom, and she said there is a challenging poem to write LOL. Contrary to what girls think, guys do not really care for revealing types of outfits. Creating this poem was indeed quite the challenge while keeping it tasteful.
