Analysis of My hero

Just like a roulette,
No child unborn knows it's destined home
Where we are born is like a toss of coin,
Some get the head, some wag the tail.
Little Helen got the latter,
Born in the shadows of a Monrovia surburb,
Out of the dust of despair,
Liberia's hero,
My hero was born.

Formed from the loins of a Gola
Fed from the breast of a German mother
From the beginning, her life was not common.
My hero dared to dream just like Martin Luther
A dream that would change the world forever
A dream that made a girl like me dream
A dream that cuts through all race and ages
A dream of freedom,
a dream of justice
A dream of hope
Above all a dream for humanity

A true daughter of Liberia
A dreamer who needed answers,
Journeyed thousand of miles, just to get the answers
She toiled all night,
Burning the candlestick
Preparing for every test that stood before her
She crushed them,my hero overcame it all
Decorated with the laurels of the Masters
Like firewood for the winter,
she gathered every available skills and knowledge
Preparing for the challenge ahead
Selfless,she heard her fatherland calling,
Ruthless,she heed the call

O Liberia
How proud you are of your seed,
Daring to be the first,
She trod the path strong men failed
She overcame the very temptation
That turned great men into items of ridicule.
Twice she stared them straight in the eyes;
The men that marred the integrity of the nation
Twice she was thrown into the cage,
Confined behind bars amongst strangers,yet
My hero kept dreaming
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf,never stopped believing.

My hero,
You have taught me to be  relentless when dreaming
Persistence gave birth to a new nation
Consistency gave way to implementation
Being first was not your motivation
But saving Liberia was your main agenda
Saving humanity was the main cause
Your story has changed the world
Your gender is forever indebted to u
There is no Liberia story without you
Your story has given many cause to dream
Your legacy would never be forgotten

Long live Liberia
Long live Mother of Liberia
Long live mother of Africa
Long live Ellen Eugenia Johnson Sirleaf
My hero
My everything.
