Analysis of I Tried to Cry
I tried to cry, but neither eye
Would shed a single tear
The funeral was people full
Emotions were quite clear.
Alzheimer's took my mom away,
And yet I felt no grief.
The love I should have had that day
Was stolen by a thief.
Her ways with me stained everything
And so, it is still true
That fate will choose what it will bring,
And God will do that too!
