Analysis of Our Last Winter Together

I sit here on the rock that feels like your heart, cold, rough, yet soft and warm at the same time. How can that be, but you see as seasons have 2 faces to be seen. In the middle of the ever changing forest thinking of past memories as a droplet of fresh spring water flowing over not the slow and easy brooks river-pebbles, but more like a raging river making it’s path through the damn and into the forest, contemplating all of my plans coming forward in head for my bright future- the timeline, what do I do, what needs to be done, who needs to be aware, all these things racing in my head to prepare myself and those who will be affected of what shall come after Our Last Winter together.

Quiet the mind I say.

As his words race through the air as if they are vultures in midair trying to fall on my deaf ear.

So not to disturb that mind with the sharp quills as a porcupines.

Hold that head high I portray.

As his foot falls on me like a tree in the forest freshly sawed for winter's warmth. His foot ever so heavy and as strong as the rock that I sit here and ponder on as if it’s the lone limb trying to break the others down only to see they stand tall- battered, but proud!

So not to be seen weak as a dandelion's seeds.

Don’t fall prey, stand tall.

As his heart opens almost like the sun, the calm of the lake next to the forest that holds the Eagle that soars high and peeks his sunlight out to shower me with what little love he can, but don’t be fooled this warm shower for it will not last as the vultures and falling tree will return with no forewarning.

I’m forever grateful and blessed for our Our Last Winter together.
