Analysis of Sometimes You Get Tired...
Sometimes you get tired of endless love with an expiration date,
of a life that comes down to a string composed of regrets,
of inconsistent declarations of love that cause your mind to suffer
and time spent in the company of false hopes.
Sometimes you let out a sigh, with a tear running down your cheek,
when you remember the past and it can't come back,
while in you they fight mindlessly what would have been and what is
and you wonder when you veered off your path without noticing.
Sometimes you meet the dawn after a night spent without any sleep
and regret that instead of being in your hug, she is only in your thoughts,
and your heart, without any compassion in your chest, squeezes you harder,
because you become aware that only the past binds you to her.
