Analysis of A Force
Adam Roy Carrigan 1985 (Winnipeg, MB)
For those who run to and from the flames
Know that I am the fire
For those who seek shelter from the rain and thunder
I am the storm
For the ones who huddle together when the ground rumbles
I am the very Earth that quakes
I am the wind beneath the wings of song birds
I am also the hurricane that ripped your city apart
I am the force in nature that cannot be tamed
I am the rays of sunshine that burn and bane
I am the cold waters of the deep distance seas
I am the radioactive elements from the ground that arise
And you; are of no consequence to me
