Analysis of I'm Leaving Again

I'm inquiring about you again,
I'm looking for you along our old paths,
a tear wants to come out of the eye,
but to cry I defend myself.

An old friend tells me about you,
says that with him luck follows you,
that you give him all your love,
and you don't want to know anything about me anymore.

As I listen to his words
and the wind that carries them away,
I look at the young couple in love
and wonder where life is sending them.

I'm leaving, I hear you're happy,
and I don't want to suffocate your happiness,
I would like to bring you back to me,
but I don't want to tear down what was built for you.
