Analysis of FREE BIRD

I'm a free bird,
Not in the normal description,
Not in the way that is visible to many,
But deep inside, I let my spirit run wild, find it's purpose.

I'm a free bird,
I don't just listen, observe and conform,
I accept my different and love my awkward,
This soul can't be tamed by societal norms or set narratives.

I'm a free bird,
I will leave before I get compromised,
I will risk it all to stay authentic to my true path,
Only me and my God know where my step lands tomorrow.

I'm a free bird,
For wild souls, solitude is the solution,
For they leave if they can't tame your spirit,
Spirit says let my Creator guide me for what made me deserving of existence.

I'm a free bird,
I will smile when I'm angry,
I will cry when I'm happy,
I will do everything exactly how it comes to me though it may defy the norm.

I'm a free bird,
Reflecting meek before summoning my strength,
Avoiding conflict because there is none within me,
Everyday I have sought and now I am finding my true self.
