Analysis of The monster is still in your own castle's walls.
The monster is still in your own castle's walls.
When the night turns to morning and you still haven't slept.
When your day is spent in a gray haze because all you've done is weep.
When your thoughts and memories play tricks in your mind in great depth.
The monster is still in your own castle's walls.
When you look at your partner and see the same evil you thought you left.
When their hands become weapons you're filled with nothing but regret.
When you try to get away your children's safety is a threat.
The monster is still in your own castle's walls.
When you look at your children know they also have wept.
When the children you raised and love are doing the same self-neglect.
When they act it all out because their hearts and lives are just as unkempt.
The monster is still in your own castle's walls.
When your life seems like it's on constant repeat.
When the destruction you live with impacts all the challenges
you meet.
When knowing your worth but only feel seemingly endless defeat.
When the voices in your head make it impossible for you to enjoy anything because of defeat
The monster is still in your own castle's walls.
