Analysis of Wretched
Her formless body
Quivers
Sagging. coffee skin
Struggles to contain the mass of her.
This forsaken soul that love forgot
Welcomes new terrors
As now, they are her only friends.
Tears explode from her
As screams between ragged breathing
Chances not taken
Haunt her.
Menacing her with shouts
Of “if only” and “what if”?
She can no longer count
The trespasses.
The smiles of those who
Wronged her
Have blurred into
The obscure collage
Of unfriendly, unknown,
Vacant eyes.
She existed eons ago
Had a name
Was familiar.
Now
She just was.
