Analysis of Whirlwind fling
A flame
so hot
all it could do
was
burn out
I gave you my all
and it was good
for a while
but it ended
as quick as it started
we burned out
it wasn't you
it wasn't me
but as a flame
we gasped for air
the very air
that ended us
but all was not lost
the smoke that prevails
after the flame's inevitable death
was a reminder
that we once
were
the light
that kept each other
burning.
