Analysis of It's Not a Choice

Steve Cochrane 1955 (Cape)

For me, it's never been a choice.
I listened to my inner voice
And fell in love with you!

I could not help myself back then.
I only know it happened when
You came into my view.

Although I never have believed
That love by sight can be achieved,
My emptiness is gone

Because I feel, when you are near,
My loneliness will disappear
As love goes on and on.
