Analysis of Farewell

Dear gentle souls,

'tis the season to part ways on our journ'y.
not a time for wasted 'motion or cross-words;
but a time to take measure of the essential
and the nourish'r of our being;

when the inner rumb'ings for change are ceaseless;
to heed the call or no?
not to do so is a denial of the true self...
'tis a forbearance to be regrett'd.
enuff is not enuff, is enuff not enuff for fame or fortune?
when the rumb'ings grow louder and nearer, to embrace with
courage and be in unison with one...

before our skills fully wane, and our working spirit 'xtinguished,
to re-dedicate to a calling...
to be of service is a gift, an honor of high rank.

thusly, I venture forth into the unknown with urgency…
with a tentative step, nervous delight, and a hope eternal.
may we all be a’tuned with 'ur inner voice on this journ’y.

Mani S. Kavuru

Words and writing have always interested me, but the transition now is from scientific writing (which is based on logic and the rational) to a more emotive, lyrical form. At present this remains an experiment to see if I can strike the right tone, elicit a desired effect, etc. Full disclosure: I have been utilizing chatGPT as an "assistant"; I provide the prompts, edit extensively, yet the structure is provided by my assistant. I take full responsibility for the end result. Not that dissimilar to work on a scientific project in the lab, etc. more…
