Analysis of This isn't me.
Levi Quinn 2009 (Michigan)
Every time I look in the mirror,
I see a silhouette
That isn't mine.
And I think,
"This isn't me."
Whenever I see my own self
I am harshly reminded
of my burning desire
for a sense of masculinity
and what I was truly meant to be.

About this poem
I wrote this poem about not feeling masculine enough. I am transgender and I feel very feminine every time i see myself and i just get really dysphoric.
