Analysis of I Prindsesse Dagmars Stambog

Hans Christian Andersen 1805 (Odense) – 1875 (Copenhagen)

Her Pen og Blæk en Tegning gav:

En Kornmark med en Kjæmpegrav,
En Bøgeskov, det aabne Hav,
Og Danmark er fremstillet.

Men selv i Lykkens bedste Hjem
Kan Mindets Taare perle frem,
Den har langt bedre Billed.

Det ud fra Barnehjerte sprang,
Med Solskin og med Barnesang,
Selv mindste Blomst maa ligne.

Sligt Hjertet kun kan aande hen,
Det tegnes ei med Blæk og Pen.
— Gud glæde Dig, Fyrstinde!
