Analysis of I Loved Our Start

Kimberly Tenold 2008 (Missouri)

I always used to think love wasn't a necessity
Then you went and got close to me
And my life seemed like a fantasy
Nights spent telling you I wanted your arms wrapped around me
Sickness separated us for a week
And damn, that was really hard on me
You were out shifting gears
While I was swimming through my fears
Praying you wouldn't get hurt and you'd come home to me
But for me, home was your heart
Never looking for an end because I loved our start
