Analysis of Submit a Poem

I was told to submit a poem by your site...
                   ...so here it goes.

As I write this poem tonight and jostle down words and phrases outright,

I'm amused, I'm writing something so contrite, on this fortnight.

So with these silly words I bid farewell to you all and may you all have a goodnight.

Adieu to you...
