Analysis of You answer them

You answer their pain you fold each time you can’t stand for yourself others are a tree strong and rooted not budging by wind but you are a feather taken where the wind needs you changing the direction for each person. You answer their pain you can’t stand to see it when others can look the other way blindfolded by boundaries you are stuck eyes unmoving like a dear in headlights. You answer their pain you can’t give up on them others can swim away freely like a minnow in a open body of water with no predators but you drown with the weight tied to yourself unconscious when you reach the bottom but they still need you so you start again. You answer their pain you won’t get help others go to you the knowledge they have that you won’t leave means they are free to gallop the fields of your heart you don’t mind if they stomp to hard adding to the pain you have been caught a long time ago the hunters hold you in a cage for forever more.
