Analysis of Christian Voigt
Hans Christian Andersen 1805 (Odense) – 1875 (Copenhagen)
Alt hvad der dybt greb i min Kjærlighed,
Det saae jeg altid snart, som Boblen briste,
Du er mig kjær! og derfor klart jeg veed,
At ogsaa Dig, jeg derfor her vil miste.
O vær mig tro, i hvad der end skal skee;
Thi Du — kun Du forstaaer min bitre Vee.
Min Tro paa Mennesker i Fryd og Smerte
Staaer mægtigt bygget paa dit Broder Hjerte.
