Analysis of Living Love
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Be imitators of the Lord,
And be like a beloved child;
A follower in one accord,
Walking in love not defiled.
Walk in the love as Christ has done,
Gave Himself as a sacrifice;
Being the Father’s only Son,
That paid for our sinful price.
Being a fragrant offering,
And as a sacrifice to God;
Alleviate the suffering,
Of the guilt when we become flawed.
Sexual immorality,
And of our covetousness;
Which causing the impurity,
The reason that we must confess.
Let there never be filthiness,
Nor the jesting with foolish talk;
Always show God your worthiness,
Remember to righteously walk.
Anyone who has been impure,
Has no inheritance from God;
Because they remain immature,
Their lusts have caused them to be flawed.
Be not deceived by the vain words,
For these things will bring on the wrath;
Causing obstacles and hazards,
That will be obstructing your path.
