Analysis of My Silence

Steve Cochrane 1955 (Cape)

My silence doesn't mean that I
Ignore the words you say,
But often I cannot reply.
My thoughts just float away.

My silence doesn't mean I'm not
Concerned for how you feel.
In fact, my feelings show I've got
A love that is so real!

My silence is a part of me
And has been many years.
I hope you'll take the time to see
How losing you brings tears.
