Analysis of People Don't Know What They Want
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Looks to crave fade away.
Like things to want when shiny and bright.
Until aging begins to decay the image.
People don't know what they want.
To want.
Then get it.
People don't know what they want.
To want.
Variety is said to be the spice of life.
But how much spice becomes disliked.
Even if the price is right,
Yet incapable to satisfy the appetite...
Of scrutinizing eyes probing.
From head to toe.
Preparing to let go of that which has,
Fulfilled a wish quickly dismissed to forget.
People don't know,
What they want to want.
People don't want what nolonger,
Sustains a suitability to flaunt.
And keep appreciated.
With a staying that way to love.
A love not of things.
But what one brings from the heart that stays.
Looks to crave don't stay that way.
They fade with age.
But only in the heart does love grow,
As if brighter and better then ever.
Like life experienced blessed to get shared.
