Analysis of Woes of Emotion
Alward L. Ashton 1999 (California)
Abandon me, So that I can move on.
Wound me, So I can mend what is done.
Betray me, so I know where loyalty lies.
Deprave me, so I know I never had anything.
Leave me, so that I may know I was right.
Lie to me, so that I may know the truth.
Forget me, so I may let go of these memories.
Hate me, so it will be easier on my heart.
Forfeit me, So that perhaps another can hold.
Let go of me, so I no longer have to hold on.
Look down on me, So I know where I am in your eyes.
Kill me, so that my soul can finally rest easy.

About this poem
Isolation is a humans worst enemy, we are social creatures by nature and when left to our own vices and with our own mind. It eats away at itself resulting in the Poem below. It's not a great poem but one that came to my mind in a time of woe.
