Analysis of High hopes

Walking around with my head held high
Not that long ago I wanted to die
Along came  a miracle that helped me see
Looking inside is how you become free

Loving each day and holding on tight
Letting go giving up the fight
Surrender to win is what they said
Helps you walk around holding up your  head

Loving each day and holding on tight the miracle happened to you tonight
Holding on tight never letting go
Stop disconnecting and go with the flow
Be yourself and stop being tough
Inside screaming I’ve had enough
Becoming the person you always were
Feeling as though your walking on air
No hurt inside the trauma has gone
Talking it out to see it all gone
Trusting others and taking a chance
Letting go of the ultimate stance
The fear and the loathing directed at self
Leaving it all on the shelf
As you move on and free your mind
Longing to love and always be kind
Surviving the drama the hurt and the pain
Making me stronger and so much less vain
Humility comes with time and grace
Feeing compassion As the love you do face
Understanding you are never perfection.
Keeping life steered in the right direction
Honesty truth compassion and kindness
Less worried what others thought in their blindness
Together we can and together we unite
Onwards and upwards doing what’s right
