Analysis of Perhaps
ChandraDWells 1981 (Canada)
Rolling, tumbling, Falling, screaming in rage.
This angry inside of me traps me in a cage.
I don't want to be something I'm not.
Be true to yourself is what we are taught.
But in order for me to be loved by you,
I can't be the person I am today..and there is nothing I can do.
Friendship is how this reconnection started. But it can't go on because we are dearly departed. No more lies, no more goodbyes. The pain is in the past and forgiveness has come at last.
Perhaps one day, we shall meet when we are old and gray. Speaking kindly of a young romance that left our hearts in a beautiful trance. It was destiny that separated you from me. But if fate realines then you will once again be mine. This I have to believe, what you ask for you shall receive.
