Analysis of SEEING. THROUGH
Does the sun stop shining
When obscured by a cloud?
So kind deeds and thoughts
And beautiful words
Seem any less kind
Welcome, admired
When gifted by someone
From another place,
Another race?
Does the sun stop shining
When obscured by a cloud?
Does love stop being love
Or lose its strength
When battered and bruised
By forces that appear,
Uninvited,
Unexpected,
From elsewhere?
Does the sun stop shining
When obscured by a cloud?

About this poem
I was thinking about how much the World is full of lovely kind people ,from all over the World, all nationalities , all races, all colours, all circumstances, all shapes and sizes, all beliefs , all opinions , all talents, all…..., and yet so full of prejudice, misunderstanding, hate….and ( once again!) asked myself “WHY?”
