Analysis of Evol

Constant midnight thoughts
You said you’ll be the one I never lose
Temptation knocking on the door
There was new supply for you to misuse

Here I cry these tears of sorrow
I can’t help but to reminisce
The love we shared I felt so pure
Every day with you was immensely intense

I’m left longing to relearn myself
Why do this seem so unreal
Sleeping with you every night
Now I wake up from sweats an chills

Did you ever love me?
Was I apart of your twisted con?
If I meant the things you said to me
How was it so easy for you to move on?

You leave me to come back?
So you can repeat the cycle again?
The woman I love was left in the past
Who is in this shell that remains?

A master puppeteer,
Tell me why am I always to blame?
I fall back into your trap once more
handing you my heart strings

Making love until sunrise, by sunset
It feels we are hundred miles away
I can see you sitting next to me
But realizing our love is in a decay

The absence of your love is hurting me
I have no choice but to grieve
When you packed an walked away
Why didn’t you take the memories?

It hurts me to walk away from us
But with you I’m always in pain
I have to leave with what I have left
Or die knowing that everything has changed
