Analysis of The Virtue of Patience

Edward Heath II 1974 (Illinois)

Patience is a virtue, so they say,
But waiting can be tough day by day,
Yet hold on tight and do not stray,
In the end, it's worth the delay.

Though progress may seem slow,
And the outcome may not show,
Stay steadfast, don't let go,
The reward will come, don't you know?

Time may test your will,
But keep calm and be still,
For waiting is a skill,
That pays off in the end, at will.
